Happy Friday ~
In phonics we worked bl, cl, fl, gl, pl, and sl. In reading we read fiction and nonfiction books about apples. We did some fun activities with apples today. Most of the kids in our class prefer red delicious. I think they wanted to make an apple pie. On Thursday we took a break from apples to celebrate International Dot Day. The kids really enjoyed the DOT candy and using it in math. We continued to write personal narrative pieces and use a graphic organizer to help layout our details. In science we continued our unit on magnets and learned about attract and repel.
