Week of October 25th

Happy Friday!  We had a fun Friday today.  The costumes looked wonderful, and Declan and his mom sent in cute Halloween treat bags.  We also got to do math with candy corn. This week in phonics we worked on the magic “e” and next week we will work on syllable types.  In reading we worked on monster book and retelling and adjectives.  For writing we wrote our own informational pieces.  In math we worked on subtraction within 20 and next week will work on place value numbers 20 to 120.   In science we are working on sound with a STEM project: Rock Band.  The students have worked hard on writing their songs and making their instruments.  We hope to make our music videos on Wednesday.  If you have not done so already check out the drama stick puppets videos on Seesaw.

Next week our red words: he, look, does & were.  Please have your child practice them for the test next Friday.
