Week of January 17th

We have had a wonderful week!  We read different versions of the Goldilocks and the Three Bears.  We worked on retelling and compare/contrast.  In writing the students wrote about their favorite piece of fruit and their favorite toy.  We are working on giving one reason and supporting it with a detail. In math we worked on greater than, less than and equal to.    In social studies we worked on knowing not only where the continents and oceans but also facts about each one.  For those students who did not do well on the map test I will give them another test on Friday, January 28th.
